Using humor to raise awareness about endangered animals

Challenge

Endangered Species Revenge (ESR) aimed to drive donations and raise awareness about conservation issues through humorous videos. Their previous website lacked mobile optimization and failed to effectively engage users, hindering their mission.

Solution

We redesigned and rebuilt the ESR website on Wordpress to better support content sharing, storytelling, and donations—all within a tight budget and timeline. The new site combines playful characters with real conservation imagery and makes it easy for visitors to watch videos, learn more, and donate from any device.

Results

The revamped site enhanced user engagement and facilitated easier navigation, leading to increased donations and a broader reach for ESR's conservation message.

Working with Carl and Avidano Digital has opened my eyes to what the process of constructing a great website should be! And, what a beautiful, highly-functional, yet speedily-constructed site should look like. Over the years I have paid much more money to other web design teams—and all of them charged more than Carl, took longer, and created websites which were not nearly as beautiful, user-friendly, or highly-functional as Avidano Digital’s.

Carl suggested both sweeping functional and aesthetic changes, as well as small details, to improve the user experience of my site—which I never would have considered. The result is that our company has a more professional site than we’ve ever had. Carl’s ability to quickly hone in on what our most vital need was—to make our non-profit’s numerous wildlife conservation videos as easy to navigate and view as possible—and to then construct every functional and aesthetic detail around this need, was impressive.

Plus, Carl is a pleasure to work with.
